All-Polymer Kabuto Drop-In Rapid Reset System

Designed for lightweight operation and efficient performance, the all-polymer Kabuto is a drop-in Rapid Reset System built specifically for the AR-15 platform. Delivering incredible speed, this variant features polymer internal construction backed by key steel reinforcement where it counts.

Materials & Construction

• Lightweight Housing & Internals: Precision 3D printed from durable polymer for both the housing and internal components.

• Critical Reinforcement: Equipped with a rugged tool steel pin at high-stress wear points to ensure long-term durability and reliability.

• Reinforced Ambidextrous Safety: Ships complete with a 3-position selector switch featuring the signature design internally reinforced with a full-length stainless steel screw running through its core, eliminating the high-stress failure points common in standard printed safeties.

Performance & Buffer Tuning Note

Because this system cycles at an extremely high rate of speed, buffer weight selection is critical for reliable performance:

• Some setups will run fine on a standard carbine buffer.

• However, because it can cycle fast enough to outrun standard setups and cause jams, we strongly recommend using an H1, H2, or H3 buffer to tune the bolt speed.

• Note: Never use a solid (rifle-style) buffer.

Compatibility & Requirements

• Platform: AR-15 (Fits most mil-spec lowers with a standard mil-spec fire control group that requires zero modification). Successfully tested on popular builds including PSA, Aero Precision, Anderson, Daniel Defense, Core15, and DPMS.

• Bolt Carrier Group: Requires an M16 bolt carrier group (BCG) to function correctly.

• Exclusions: Will not work in CMMG .22lr setups (due to different lever geometry). Only mil-spec triggers are fully confirmed at this time; other trigger types are untested.
